Designed by architecture firm Biehler Weith Associated, the Villa Moos home located adjacent to Lake Constance in Germany is a model of minimalist architecture. Inside and out, the home is clean, sharp, and offers endless stark white surfaces.
While some minimalist homes are overly boxy, what sets the Lake Constance home apart is its unusual angles that made it seem as though its a giant origami sculpture.
Inside, the white walls are complemented by loads of glass that bathes the interior with light. The home includes a guest room and office space, plus a massive, airy living room. The latter is also next to the kitchen and dining area. The lower level includes the master bedroom, a dressing room, and bathroom.
The home’s ultra-minimalist look may not appeal to everyone, but its undeniably classy and rather tranquil. A small garage also houses the the owner’s speed boats and antique race cars, completing this alluring lakeside retreat.
