When (fer) studio set out to design a home for a collector of Asian artifacts, both the architects and the owner wanted to see a fusion of Asian and modern design elements. The result was this stunning home located in West Hollywood, CA. Measuring 4,500 square feet, the home is large, minimal, and certainly modern. But despite all the crisp, modern touches, the Asian influence is never forgotten. Adjacent to the main living room is a 300+ year old monastery door from South East Asia that separates the living room from the office. Additionally, jade was used in the master bedroom to continue to the Asian trend, while simultaneously adding to the luxurious look and feel of the room.
