Frank Gehry has become a living legend, responsible for some of the world’s most famous building, including the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. But even at the age of 81, Gehry continues to take on challenges, including a new building for the University of Technology in Sydney Australia, as well as teaching at Yale. Among Gehry’s many influences is music, and that’s why another one of his upcoming projects include helping out the music program at Santa Monica High School. This Thursday the school will host Gehry as he discusses his projects and his methods, and of course the school’s orchestral will provide musical entertainment at the event as well. Joining Gehry will be writer Barbara Isenberg which recently published the book Conversations with Frank Gehry.
